Päivi works in the field of art and design and public art/design. She studied for Ba Hons in Design and Public Art in Chelsea College of Art and Design in London specializing in large scale ceramics in public context as well as combining graphics and ceramics.

She has recently completed her MA studies in Applied Art and Design in the University of Art and Design Helsinki focusing in particitopary design in the urban setting.
